Dr Anna B. Ninsiima, PhD (Vrije Universiteit Brussels)

Anna is a Lecturer at the School of Women and Gender Studies, Makerere University. She is an experienced and self-motivated gender and policy analyst, with extensive knowledge of academic work, research, and development. Anna has done extensive gender focused research; sexual and reproductive health and rights, economic development, gender and public policy, and women’s participation in leadership and governance. She has written and published papers in the field of adolescent sexual and reproductive health; and economic development in Uganda. She has experience in qualitative research, analysis, presentation, advocacy and policy communication. Anna has been sought after as a peer reviewer for international journals including Culture Health and Sexuality; Health Education Research and Qualitative Health Research.
